| The
SPSL program for men is centered on strong relationships, accountability to the group and
developing a strong program of recovery.
The common welfare of the group comes
first and group expectations must be met.
One
of the most important benefits for SPSL’s
male residents is their newfound ability
to become independent and responsible,
both financially and emotionally. Former
residents who are now healthy, active
members of the community, attribute their
sobriety and success to spending the early,
formative months of recovery developing
a strong 12 Step program while living
at an SPSL’s sober house.
The
men’s houses provide a safe, caring,
brotherly environment in which to begin
living a sober lifestyle and developing
new relationships in St. Paul’s
active recovering community. SPSL houses
afford residents the freedom to develop
spiritually in their own way, and the
structure to assure that sobriety and
recovery remain the number one priority.
